  • Cap, Gown, and Announcements Jostens is the 2022 supplier of caps, gowns, and announcements.  At this time all orders placed volition incur additional shipping charges and will send directly to the homes starting the week of March 7, 2022.  If you have already placed your order it will be delivered at Plano Due east on Thursday, February 28 from 11:30am-2:00pm in the gym foyer.   If you lot even so need to place your order visit the website atwww.jostens.com.   Congratulations Class of 2022!

  • Gold/ GPA cords for those that have attained a 3.half dozen cumulative GPA for their high school career and Silvery/ AP Cords for those that have taken iv AP exams.

    These two cords can be picked up on Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday May 25 at 1 pm in the deli.

  • Diplomas - Actual diplomas will not be given during the ceremony.  Graduates are encouraged to pick up their diplomas at Plano East on Monday, June 6 at the following times:

    9:00 am – 10:30 am    Alpha Subschool         Educatee last names A – D       Deli

                                        Beta Subschool.          Student last names E – Ll        Cafeteria

      Diplomas volition not be mailed. Each graduate must selection upwards his/her own diploma and must evidence a photo ID.  For security and privacy reasons, diplomas will not exist given to parents or friends.  Graduates may likewise pick up their diplomas in the Registrar's Office during regular business concern hours whatever day after June half-dozen.

  • Final Transcripts Seniors must request a last transcript to be sent to the college that they will attend in the fall, to Collin Higher if the student plans to attend in that location in the summertime and/or fall, and to the NCAA Eligibility Center for students participating in college athletics.  All last transcript requests must be entered in Naviance after May 13th .  All transcript requests made after May fifteenth in Naviance will be considered Final Transcript Requests.

  • Graduation Regalia

    Plano East traditionally has reserved graduation regalia to only a black cap and gown.  No decorations are immune to be added to the issued cap and gown.  Students that fall in these categories are allowed to add recognition of their accomplishments:

    1. Gilt GPA Cord for those that attain a 3.vi cumulative GPA.
    2. Silver-AP Cord for those that take 4 AP courses and their exams that go with that grade.
    3. IB stole-achieving IB diploma candidate status
    4. Health Science Red Cord-earned for completion of the Health and Science programme
    5. NHS String-those that have successfully maintained status equally a NHS fellow member

    Students are  not immune to add whatever other items to the graduation regalia.  Any boosted items will be confiscated or the students will not be allowed to walk.

    Attire

    • Dress for graduation is business organisation casual.
    • Girls are expected to clothing dresses or slacks and shirts (no t-shirts) with appropriate shoes.  (No purses allowed)
    • Boys are expected to wear slacks, a collared shirt, necktie, and advisable airtight-toed shoes and socks.
    • Beach sandals or flip flops are not allowed.
    • Students must be properly attired to participate in the graduation ceremony.

  • Graduation Practice Schedule:

    Seniors that are exempt or do not have a class during the outset two graduation practice times are to come then.  All others are to report afterwards school.

    May 26th in the Auditorium:

    11:xxx during 6th catamenia exam

    2:00 afterward school

  • Form OF 2022!  If you missed the deadline to lodge your senior items it is not as well tardily!  You can still society online at www.jostens.com , all the same, some of the items and packages available have changed and the pricing has increased due to the group discount promotion being over.  It is however very important that you place your order as soon as possible due to supply chain issues.  This ensures that your educatee volition have the correct size cap and gown at graduation.  Delight call the Jostens office in Allen with whatever questions at 214-383-9502.

  • Distribution of Graduation Tickets- eight per graduate – Students must present a photo I.D. and sign for receipt of tickets. Students also must accept all items cleared.  Students tin can check the non articulate listing by checking this link.   Students must be signed into their PISD account to view.  You will search for your student ID past clicking Control + F and typing your ID number in.  This listing is being updated daily and will be finalized on May 23 by midnight.  Students and families should bank check on Tuesday, May 24th to ensure they are not on the list that would proceed them from getting graduation tickets.

    Graduation tickets non picked up past Thursday, June 2rd at 10 am will be offered for redistribution on a first come, first serve basis.  Students wanting to pick up extra tickets will need to come to the East forepart office at 2 pm on June 2nd.  Tickets volition exist given until they are all given out or at 3:30 when ticket distribution and the front office volition be closed.
