More oft than not, the ax tends to autumn on a doctor in Grey's Anatomy. Whether it's due to negligence, incompetence or cut downs, a major character loses their job most once every two seasons. The charge per unit at which doctors lose their jobs is almost like to the rate at which they resign. A number of doctors have decided to pace out on their own terms too.

Luckily, in the long-running medical drama, unemployment isn't forever. Most of the doctors who get fired go rehired quite apace or land a job elsewhere. They are the all-time doctors in the world after all, and staying unemployed for too long wouldn't make sense. While some task loss incidents have been painful, others have been understandable, given the circumstances.

Koracick stepped in to help and was shocked to detect out that Vik hadn't ordered any tests. Despite their best efforts, the patient died. And when Koracick asked Vik to call the time of death, he refused, claiming the responsibility wasn't his. What's funnier is that Vik idea Alex was giving him a day off when he told him not to come in the next mean solar day. In reality, he was getting fired.

She knew virtually it through an email notification.

Angry, she opted to sue for wrongful termination. Megan believed her pregnancy was a cistron in her dismissal, as opposed to cost-cutting. Fighting for what you believe is right helps sometimes and Megan somewhen got her job dorsum subsequently Derek Shepherd was promoted Main of Surgery. Even meliorate, he promised her that she wouldn't be dismissed even if in that location were other cutbacks.

2 Alex Karev

At one point, he temporarily quit his job at Grey Sloan and joined the Lebackes Pediatric Surgery Dispensary in order to make more money so he could pay off his college debts.

Sadly, Maggie Pierce accidentally messed this when she walked into an OR and mentioned that in that location were plans to make Alex a fellow member of the board. Upon hearing this, Oliver Lebackes fired him with firsthand issue. Luckily, the doors were still open at Grey Sloan and he was taken back as an attending pediatric surgeon.
